Barnes, who wrote the Gospel evergreen “Rough Side Of The Mountain,” Luther is Gospel royalty, scoring hits with Luther Barnes & the Sunset Jubiliaires, the Red Budd Gospel Choir, and his own solo recordings - such hits as “I’m Still Holding On,” “So Satisfied,” “That Other Shore,” “No Matter How High I Get” and many more. One of the great balladeers of all time, Luther has received a number of Stellar and GMWA awards and was inducted into The International Gospel Music Hall Of Fame.
