Judy Mowatt "Black Woman"

As a member of Bob Marley's I-Three backing vocal group, Judy Mowatt toured the world but back in Jamaica she had an active solo career. Black Woman, her second album, is generally regarded as the greatest reggae album by a female artist, a passionate collection of message songs celebrating Rastafari, women, and the struggles of Black women. Includes "Joseph", her heartfelt tribute to Bob Marley, the anthemic title track, the spiritual "Sister's Chant" and great versions of such Marley songs as "Concrete Jungle" and "Put It On."
