Teedra Moses occupies a unique space on the pop music landscape—one that bridges the gap between neo-soul and hip-hop, electronic dance music and new age. As a songwriter she has written for the likes of Mary J. Blige, Macy Gray, Christina Milian, Raheem De Vaughan, Rick Ross and Raphael Saadiq; as an artist her collaborations with Rick Ross and the Maybach group found her guesting on Ross’ and other artists’ hits as well launching her solo career with the cult favorite album “Complex Simplicity”. Her “Cognac and Conversation” album takes her sound a step further into an innovative space. Twice a winner of a BMI “Songwriter of the Year” award, her songs have been showcased in the Logo series Noah’s Ark, HBO’s Entourage and the feature films Never Die Alone, Beauty Shop, Be Cool and The Skinny.
