KIM BURRELL
Ground-breaking gospel artist Kim Burrell is one of the most dynamic and powerful voices in music today. Indeed her many fans come from both within and without the gospel music community and she has collaborated with such artists as George Clinton, Stevie Wonder, Harry Connick, Jr. Shirley Caesar and more. Raised in the church, she sang her first solo in church at the age of 8. Launching her recording career in 1995, she has achieved Stellar Awards, a Grammy nomination, Top Ten Billboard albums and Top Ten gospel radio hits. Her unique approach to gospel incorporates elements of jazz vocalizing that gives her ministry and spiritual expression a unique power.
