Lee Dewyze is a singer-songwriter who was the 2010 winner of American Idol. Unlike most Idol winners, Lee already had a career as a performer prior to winning. As a result, he was able to continue his recording career with Vanguard Records after his Idol moment. His creation “Blackbird Song” was featured in an episode of the popular television series The Walking Dead and he has appeared as an actor in such horror films as Circling The Drain and Deadscapes: Broken Road. With widespread touring and a large and active social media following, Lee maintains a passionate fan base.

Oil & Water is an intimate, evocative all-original album in the vein of his heroes Simon & Garfunkel and Jackson Browne. With many acoustic elements laced with discreet touches of electronic effects and electric instruments, Oil & Water is one of Lee’s most personal and authentic artistic statements.
