Willi Williams is a legendary roots reggae artist who scored the all-time classic hit “Armageddon Time,” which was covered by The Clash.  The song was featured in Jim Jarmusch’s acclaimed feature film “Ghost Dog,” starring Forest Whitaker.  Recently, the popular jam-band Government Mule recorded a version of Willi’s song “Natty With A Cause,” re-titling it “Rebel With A Cause.”  Unification: From Channel OneTo KingTubby’s is a great “lost” roots classic recorded by Willi in association with fellow roots legend Yabby You in 1978-1979 at both the fabled Channel One and King Tubby’s studios.  This will be a “must have” for all fans of true roots reggae recorded during reggae’s golden era.
